View 1 Oh...the Cat and Dog scene. This one was in really bad shape. The frame needed cleaning and the painting was in tatters...more than a century of smoke and grime.

View 2 Someone had tried to repair the painting from the back with iron on patches. This did a lot to bubble the paint on the surface, but little to repair the rips.
